Before the day and planning

Can’t wait! How do I RSVP and when do I need to do it by?

We are really looking forward to you attending. Please RSVP through this website. Please do this by July 2024. This means that we have the details to pass on the final numbers to the caterers so that you get fed. If you don’t RSVP, then we wouldn’t have factored you in.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Are children welcome?

We are giving you the night off parenting! As much as we love your children, we are only able to accommodate children in the wedding party and a few close relatives. Only those named on the invitation are accommodated in our plans. We hope that you understand and are able to arrange childcare arrangements.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space and budget constraints, we are only able to accommodate those who are named on the invitation.

I want to stay overnight; Where do you recommend I stay?

There is no accommodation on site, however there are many hotels within a 20 minute drive, some are listed and linked above.

On the Day

What time should I arrive?
We would like all guests to be seated in the church for 1pm ready for the ceremony to start at 1:30pm.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

You may park at the barn. The church and the barn are next to each other so there is no commuting in between the ceremony and the reception. You are welcome to leave your car overnight in the car park and collect it in the morning so you can enjoy a drink!

What time does the party finish?

The last dance will be at 11.45pm, the bar will close at 11.30pm. We will be pre-booking our taxi to our hotel, we think you should too!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
No photos are to be taken in the church. We request that this special moment is enjoyed with your eyes rather than looking through a phone screen. Our photographers are incredible and they will get the best shots. It would be a real shame for them to have phones in their photos too.
After the ceremony, feel free to snap away. We can’t wait to see your pictures, but we request that no photos or videos of the Bride and Groom are shared on social media until we have uploaded a picture ourselves. This includes uploading to Instagram/ Facebook stories. Please don’t do it.

Gifts
The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept a contribution towards our honeymoon.
